Historic Preservation Tax Credit Workshop

Discover how to make historic tax credits work for your project!

Led by John Egan and Robyn Wardell from Genesis, a Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit workshop will be offered the day before the Aroostook Partnership Housing Summit that’s taking place on Thursday, October 30. Focusing on how to secure and use state and federal Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits, it will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Northern Maine Community College.

Our workshop will use case studies to guide participants through the process of successfully securing historic preservation tax credits for development projects. We’ll walk you through the program’s benefits, application steps, and real-world examples—covering everything from identifying a property to building your budget and securing investors. Bring your questions and project ideas for practical guidance you can use right away.
